History: From 1985 to 1990, four of our team members worked together at CalComp Inc, a division of Lockheed Corp. Our team effort helped CalComp gain unprecedented results in the computer aided graphics and peripherals market. CalComp achieved the national distinction as one of the premier manufacturers in the United States. Our accomplishments were published in Business Week's Special Addition on INNOVATION IN AMERICA in 1989 and in Richard Schonberger's book Building a Chain of Customers published in 1990.
Between 1989-90 we separated and each went on to very successful individual careers. Len York built upon his Calcomp experience by entering the turnaround consulting business, where he worked with a variety of financial institutions over the past 15 years.
Today: In October 2005 the team rejoined forces and introduced York+Company, an expanded organization providing business solutions for struggling mid-market companies. Each member of our team has been carefully selected to ensure York+Company meets its commitment to every client.
Our philosophy… to facilitate meaningful positive change within underperforming companies.
